Our story

Family is at the heart of everything

JC Patissier began at home.

01

It began at home

What started with cakes, pastries, French-inspired desserts created for hotels, banquets and special occasions slowly grew into something much bigger. From the beginning, everyone had a part to play — working side by side, learning, creating and building something together around the same table.

02

From Hamilton to Thorold

As the years passed, we grew from our home kitchen to our first larger location in Hamilton, and eventually found our permanent home in Thorold.

Through every stage of that journey, the values behind JC Patissier have remained the same: care in what we create, attention to detail, and a genuine desire to make people feel welcome.

03

French tradition, our own accent

Today, much of what you enjoy at JC Patissier is made in our own kitchen, using carefully selected ingredients and the same dedication that has shaped our work from the beginning. Our pastry is deeply influenced by French tradition, with subtle touches inspired by our Moroccan and Latin American heritage.

But JC Patissier has never been only about what we make.

It is about how you feel when you walk through our doors.

We want every person who visits us to feel genuinely welcomed.

We take the time to listen, to care, and whenever possible, to accommodate individual needs so everyone can feel they have a place at our table.

Over the years, JC Patissier has grown alongside us. Our children grew with it. What began around a table at home became a craft, a gathering place, and ultimately, a part of who we are.

And every day, we have the privilege of sharing a little piece of that story with you.
